"Our experience of Landal Business Line was of being an extremely professional and flexible partner both in terms of the preparations and during the event itself."

During the weekend of the 4, 5 and 6 June the Special Olympics National Games 2010 took place in North Limburg for people with learning difficulties, an event that takes place every two years. Landal GreenParks was proud to be able to welcome approximately 2,400 participants, both sportsmen and women and supporting adults, to three of its parks in Limburg: Landal Het Roekenbosch, Landal De Lommerbergen and Landal Domein de Schatberg. The last park was bought out throughout the event itself to accommodate participants in the Special Olympics.

Approximately 2,400 athletes and coaches were transported in coaches to and from the sports venues and the stadium. The participants spent two days at the parks and on Saturday evening before the celebration evening a dinner was spread over three parks booked for approximately 2,400 guests. This enormous logistics operation, which took place very successfully, witnessed the reaction of Daniëlle Remy, Event Manager for the Special Olympics National Games North Limburg 2010:

"Our experience of Landal was of being an extremely professional and flexible partner both in terms of the preparations and during the event itself. They engaged with great enthusiasm and involvement to put on an unforgettable weekend for the athletes and coaches. From the many positive responses that we have received, it is evident that Landal more than succeeded in this. We are also proud of the result that we jointly achieved."
