For more than 10 years, the Vang je Droom (Catch your Dream) Foundation has been booking midweek stays for families who haven't been able to take a holiday for a long time, or perhaps ever. Every year we receive many requests to make this dream for children come true.
Last year we welcomed 35 families for a midweek holiday. We try to accommodate all families at De Hellendoornse Berg. A nice, safe and convenient park. The reception is already very familiair with this group of guests. The staff gives them all the assistance and attention they require. We always receive pictures and messages of appreciation from very happy and grateful families.
Since three years, Vang je Droom has been working in partnership with Humanitas Twente, under the name Samen Genieten (Enjoy Together), to offer children's holiday weekends at Landal de Hellendoornse Berg and other places. Sevens weekends a year, we welcome eight children per weekend for a well deserved break from their home situation. They enjoy a carefree weekend, an unforgettable experience. Four trained volunteers from Humanitas Twente accompany the children.
