Landal Sonnenberg
In Leiwen on the Moselle, on a wooded mountain plateau among the vineyards, you will find Landal Sonnenberg. The large holiday park has 215 bungalows and 29 apartments, as well as mobile homes and camping pitches. The Moselle region is particularly famous for its wines which are made from vines in the vineyards sloping down to the river. During your stay, you can find out all about these wonderful wines and meet the wine producers too. In the wine villages, things are very 'gemütlich'. From early spring to late autumn, there are lots of wine festivals. And you are of course welcome to join in. But besides tasting wine, in this part of Germany you can also play golf, do a parachute jump, go gliding, ride a balloon or go horse riding. Landal Sonnenberg is just a two hour drive from Maastricht. Sometimes you don't need to go far from home to feel as if you're in a completely different world.
